Panel Comparison Chart

Cypress Shallows by Muenzenmayer
Cypress Shadows, acrylic on Pastelbord
by Ken Muenzenmayer
Our new panel comparison chart will help you get started with Ampersand Panels if you have never used them before, or if you are looking to try a new surface.  This is just an overview of what we recommend and what of our artists prefer.  However, there are no hard and fast rules on using Ampersand panels, please choose what you enjoy and let us know about the results.

Hardbord, Natural Wood Panel and the Artist Panel Unprimed Basswood are all unprimed unsealed raw panels; so they can be sealed and primed for your preferred use.  All raw panels need to be sealed and primed before use.

Don't forget to send images to us of your work, either here on the blog, to our email at gallery@ampersandart.com or on our Facebook Page.
